How to Renew Your Membership

You can renew your membership online. Even if your membership has expired, you can renew it with no late fees, and your data like messages, friends, etc. will still be there. Please follow these steps:

Sign In

Even if your membership has expired you can still Sign In to renew it.

Select the ‘Your Membership’ Link from the Top Menu

Note: If your membership has expired, when you Sign In you won’t be taken to the Home Page. You’ll stay on the Sign In page and it’ll be mostly blank with a link to Sign Out. Ignore that. You still select the ‘Your Membership’ link.

The ‘Your Membership‘ link can also be found in the page footer.

Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

Terms and Conditions is what we called our Release and Indemnity agreement on our old paper forms. Agreeing to it is a requirement for membership. Our Privacy Policy tells you your rights around your personal data, and spells out expectations for online behavior on our site of club members. Accepting this is also required.

Do I really need to fill-in all qualifications again?

Yes. We need to know your membership qualifications again. For those of you who remember our paper forms, you used to have to put that stuff on the membership form every year too.

But I forgot my BEMSID, or don’t have one!

That’s okay. It’s a required field for most membership types, but you can put anything in the BEMSID field and explain in the Qualification Notes. We realize that many qualified people such as family members, don’t have a BEMSID.

Select the ‘Register’ Button

Once all the required fields are complete: your BEMSID, notes, payment, etc., and you’ve proven your not a robot, you can pick the ‘Register’ button to complete your renewal.

What happens now?

What happens next depends on what method of payment you used.

Credit Card Payment

If you pay by credit card, your membership is renewed and activated right away.

Manual Payment

If you select ‘Manual Payment’, (anything other that a credit card, e.g., cash, check, Zelle, barter system) your renewal will be put in ‘Pending’ state until payment is confirmed. Contact the Membership Coordinator (membership@seahorsediveclub.com) for details about manual payments.
