The SeaHorse Dive Club is venturing across the Pacific Ocean to Atlantis Resorts, Dumaguete in the Philippines for 10 nights, May 17-27, 2026. The Philippines is world famous for its diving it is in the heart of the “coral triangle” boasting the world’s highest diversity of marine species (over 1,000 species of nudibranchs!). Dive sites range from soft bottom habitats, to coral rubble, to hard coral reefs and wall dives (Apo Island with over 400 documented species of coral). Hard coral reefs present a technicolor mix of hard and soft corals, sponges, anemones, and crinoids. Most dive sites in Dumaguete are a 10-15 min. boat ride from the resort, so divers mostly pass their surface intervals having refreshments and having snacks. The Philippine people are very friendly and warm toward American visitors so be sure to enjoy the culture as well.
